RIPs

Today's the last time I can use this icon, so I will. "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" starts tonight at 10 pm ET on NBC. It will rerun on Bravo Wednesday at 11 pm ET in case you are too busy watching CSI: Brazil. This leads me to an amusing quite that Paul Brownfield, LA Times staff writer, made referring to the similarities between Studio 60 and Paddy Chayefsky's "Network":
"Only this time Howard Beale is so Jewish he's actually Judd Hirsch."

And now, another to add to the TiVo casualty list -- "Justice". The show itself wasn't bad, but the characters bugged me more than anything else. The character I felt this about the most was Victor Garber's demanding character. It just rubbed me wrong, much like David Caruso does on anything he's in. So long, Justice.

Thanks for the Bravo note -- I do want to see this, we haven't gotten our VCR to work properly (I've also stopped taping all of these shows after we racked up hundreds of tapes, and Mondays are always bad for me.

I don't know how long the reruns will be on Bravo, mind you, but at least the pilot is going to be there.

(Ah, and one more use of this icon, since the show hasn't aired in my time zone yet...)
