Movie stars meme

Permanently borrowed from the birthday girl, msmcfeeley

Put your favorite movie that the corresponding actor stars in, and then add one actor to the end.

Tom Hanks - Apollo 13.  A well acted performance by all actors involved.  This was tough, because he's just so good.
Jim Carrey - How the Grinch Stoe Christmas.  I generally dislike Jim's his over the board comedic stylings and, as such, tend to aoid his movies.
Tobey Maguire - Seabisuit.  Only seen a nadful of his movies though, so it was slim pickin's...
Mel Gibson - Lethal Weapon 3.  Yeah, what a shame for me to list this movie as his best.  His dramatic work is very good, but I like this one.
Ben Affleck - Dogma.  Funny funny funny movie!
Nicole Kidman - Malice.  Never been a fan of hers, and didn't even know who she was until about a year after Tom married her.
Liv Tyler - That Thing You Do!  I wasn't a big fan ot LotR, so it lomited my options quite a bit...
Harrison Ford - Regarding Henry.  This was tough, since I really like most of the movies he's done.  But if I see this movie on TV, I'll stop and watch it, where I wouldn't for the others.  Anyone that doubts Harrison can act all types of roles should see this movie.
Natalie Portman - The Professional.  Didn't even really realize that she was the girl until msmcfeeley mentioned it.
Ewan McGregor - Uhm ... er... Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, I guess.  I haven't seen many of his films, surprisingly.
Edward Norton - Based on IMDB, I have actually never seen a film he's acted in.  I'm pathetic.  =)
Angelina Jolie - I haven't seen a Jolie movie that I've liked, so picking "my favorite" is just not gonna happen.
John Cusack - Sixteen Candles.  He's been in many movies, and this is my favorite of them all.  Yeah, he was good in Say Anything, Con Air, Grosse Pointe Blank, etc. but I like this.  =P
Renee Zellweger - Jerry Maguire.  I like Bridget Jomes as well...  haven't seen Cold Mt. or Chicago, so...  Oh SHUT UP!  =)
Johnny Depp - Platoon.  He wasn't a huge player in this movie IIRC, but this was an awesome for it's time.
Sean Penn - The Game.  Saw this movie as a "we're at the theater and the movie we really wanted to see isn't playing here, so now what" option, and LOVED IT!
Will Smith - Men in Black.  Cheesy, but funny.  Also liked Enemy of the State.
Meg Ryan - Sleepless in Seattle, though When Harry met Sally and Innerspace are quick followups.
Catherine Zeta-Jones - Entrapment. I just suck for not seeing many movies!
Sandra Bullock - A Time to Kill.  Liked the book a lot better, but the movie was good.
Gwyneth Paltrow - Shallow Hal.  I would also say Malice, but that's a cheat since I already said that movie.  =)
Brad Pitt - I douth sucketh for not seeing many machines.  Uhm....  NEXT!
Keanu Reeves - Speed.  Bill and Ted came in close second.  I actually slept through Devil's Advocate, but that was because I had a long day and a game show taping the next day.
Cameron Diaz - Shrek / Shrek 2.  Epic movies! Any Given Sunday, which is a very contrasting film, was also good.
Drew Barrymore - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.  Just a kid, but that's been her best work to date, IMHO.
Kate Hudson - There ain't a lot of movies here -- Almost Famous.
Marilyn Monroe - Some Like it Hot.  This is a weird addition to the list...
Adam Sandler - Another one that I haven't seen a great amount of, so Airheads.
Arnold Schwarzenegger - True Lies.  Got a little bit of everything, and I know where part of it was filmed.
Bruce Willis - Hadon Hawk.  Yeah, I LIKE the movie.  Deal with it.  =)
Eddie Murphy - Trading Places (only because I've mentioned Shrek / Shrek 2 already)
Morgan Freeman - He's been in  lot, so I'm going to pick Clean and Sober to be odd. Great flick....
Sigourney Weaver - GalaxyQuest, though it's tough call against Alien / Aliiens.
George Clooney - I can't say Spy Kids, and haven't seen others, so .... PASS!
Julia Stiles - 10 Things I Hate About You, but only because of Allison Janney.  =)
Jodie Foster - Freaky Friday.  HA!
Sean Connery - Family Business.  It's an oddball choice, especially with all the Bond films and Indy 3, but I like the cheese...
Christian Slater - Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country - HA!  Okay, fine, Heathers.
Julianne Moore - The Fugitive.  I didn't even watch ER, so I don't have a fascination thing...
 Michael Pitt - Who?
Uma Thurman - Adventures of Baron Munchausen, just because I really haven't seen many films...
Ethan Hawke - Dead Poets Society.
Elijah Wood - Back to the Future Part II.  Suck on that, fan boys!
John Travolta - John Revolting... uhm... Get Shorty.  Awesome soundtrack!
Denzel Washington - Glory.  Gawd what an awesome film.
Kevin Bacon - A Few Good Men.  One of my absolutely favorite favorite movies ever.  EV-VAH!
Milla Jovovich - Only knowingly seen Fifth Element, which wasn't good.  This was another "we're at the theater and the movie we really wanted to see isn't playing here, so now what" option, and we HATED IT!
Jake Gyllenhaal - October Sky.  Great great movie... one of Chris Cooper's good ones as well.
Russell Crowe - Virtuosity.  Good "before they were famous" film, and part of it filmed here in my work building!
Michael Douglas - The American President.  Another favority overall film, because I'm just a sucker like that.  "My name is Andrew Sheppard and I *am* the President."
Jennifer Connelly - Labyrinth.  As a kid, it freaked me out.
Peter Sellers - Wow.  Uhm.... wow.  The Party.  "Birdie num-nums?"
 Corey Feldman - Goonies!!!
William H. Macy - I'm going off the board and mentioning the TV show Sports Night, where he played a reoccuring guest star in the second season.  I'm my journal, so there.
 Tim Roth - Again, who?
Guy Pearce - Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - HA!  Okay, Memento.
Billy Bob Thornton - Love, Acutally.  The movie was okay, though he was the typical ass.
Robert Redford - my addition to the list, and I'll throw the movie Sneakers out there

Julianne Moore - The Fugitive. I didn't even watch ER, so I don't have a fascination thing...

I believe you're thinking of Julianna Margulies. I wasn't really into ER either, so I'm with you on that, but Julianne Moore is the drop-dead gorgeous (I think) redhead who was in The Hours, Magnolia, Boogie Nights, etc. She kicks all of my ass.

Not that Julianne Moore wasn't in The Fugitive, mind you, I just don't think she was ever in ER. However, having seen perhaps four episodes out of its eighteen year run, I can't absolutely swear to it.
