They say it never ...

Has anyone noticed, on Lost, that the plane that caused the big bru-haha was from Oceanic Airways? That's the same airlines that was used in Executive Decision.

Jen's new laptop arrived today. Nice. I'll be playing with that later tonight...

It's raining in SoCal, so that means everyone loses all intelligence and drives like idiots.

Okay, correction on that last statement - people are driving even MORE like idiots...

I need to add some new icons.

I'm going to make dinner now. [EDIT] So I look at the recipe and the port chops were supposed to marinate 8-24 hours, and I didn't know that until now. Looks like I'll be making reservations for dinner instead...

Do you do most of the cooking at your house?
That's *way* cool! :D
I remembered you wrote recently you had to go
shopping to plan dinners or something..
*nods*
you're well trained :D

We generally split the cooking around here. When she's on break, she cooks more often because she's home earlier. If, like today, I am working from home, I will generally make dinner.

Typically, we'll both go to store together during the weekend and get stuff for the whole week.

Yeah, trained...

For a little while, we were taking a cooking class through the city, which was really fun. The teacher decided not to continue the class, which bummed us...

Tonight was supposed to be pan seared pork chops.

Actually, we already had dinner plans for tomorrow, so I haven't even started the marinade. Got to remember to do that tomorrow night though...

Guess that means the tequila lime turkey roast that we had planned for Friday is out the window though. I'm not heartbroken over that, since it's still in the freezer anyway. Next week, hopefully, when I can do that on the grill...

Can't take credit on this one - it's one of these premade things available at Costco. They are really pretty darned good...

But goofball is a SHE, not a he. Unless Rebecca is suddenly a male name that I'm not aware of. *shrug* Worked for Sue, I guess.

You did notice that Locke worked at the same outfit featured in the movie Office Space, right?

Lost starts in 5 minutes...

Hmm. Nope, I didn't, but then again, I only saw Office Space once and it didn't really stay in my mind...

Did you catch that Hurley owns a box company? And gee, guess where Locke worked? *nods*

I actually did notice that Oceanic Air link. Of course, it was while watching just enough of Executive Decision to see Steven Seagal get killed, which in my opinion is the best part of the movie.

So do you think it's a coincidence or something intentional?
