Fluff posting

From the "Would you Believe...?" category... Jonathan Baker and Victoria Fuller have their own website and blog, detailing their thoughts of what is airing on Amazing Race 6. The site can be found here. While I know there is creative editting on shows, and the producers need to tell a good story to make it interesting, I have to think there is some truth behind how they are portaying Jonathan.

According to reports all over the net, The Amazing Race 7 is already taping. The reason for this is news - supposedly Amber Brkich and "Boston" Rob Mariano of Survivor fame are going to be a team on the new show.

And while I'm at it, regarding tonight's episode...WTF do you mean To Be Continued??!?!?!?

We (as in Jen and I) are in the process of creating a living trust. Woo-fraggin-hoo.

Watched an episode of "7 Days" from 1999 earlier today, courtesy of SpikeTV. (For the record, I still hate that name.) The episode was called "Pinball Wizard", and it involves having a teen remote controlling a missle via a video game. The missle, of course, was real, and crashed directly into the Pentagon. It was a bit surreal, to be frank.

Tomorrow I wrap Jen's gifts, fix the hall toilet (the handle broke!), make chocolate chip cookies and chocolate truffles. Wish me luck on that... Early last week, when Jen wasn't feeling well, she wanted French Onion soup. Well, I knew Alton Brown had a receipe... Of course, there are gobs of onions that need slicing, which I did dutifully...along with the very tip of my left thumb. OUUUUCH!

Our cat is running around hyper right now. It's so funny when she does laps around this place, including up and down the stairs, all without missing a step.

For those that use Firefox (and if you don't, why not?), here is a link to a page on how to make your Firefox look exactly like Internet Explorer. Now why would you want to go and do such a horrible thing to such a great browser?!?

Hotmail dumped McAfee and is implementing Trend Micro's solution. Congrats to the person who made this decision.

Jen's brand spanking new 2004 Honda Accord, with 15,000 miles on it already, just got a voluntary recall notice. Upon looking at other cars, I guess this is normal, but egads...

I've actually gone to a theater not once, but TWICE recently. We saw "Ray" which was a great movie. Jamie Foxx nailed that role, and deserves every bit of praise that is given him as a result. We also saw "The Incredibles", to which I can only say NO CAPES!

Okay, I'm going to shut up now. Maybe.

*claps* for fluff posts :)

MAN I hate Jonathan.. I don't care what he says, he's a jerk and he's acting out like a 4 year old the whole time. Yeah, there's probably some editing going on and there is some 'nicer' moments that maybe CBS isn't airing but these crappy awful moments are definitely there. LOL and yeah.. 'to be continued'?? HUH?? That's pretty lame.

And don't forget IF WE HAD THOSE TICKETS WE'D BE IN FIRST PLACE RIGHT NOW.

What a bafoon... and how can someone put up with that kind of behaviour? Many others live with worse, which baffles me...

Unfortunately I missed tonight's TAR6 (damn Kennedy Center!), but I will say that Jonathan is turning out to be the new Colin.

Two posts in one day! You're overwhelming LJ's servers. :)

I about fell out of my chair at that "To Be Continued." This must be one hella long leg.

I guess this was so they can show the frustration of the cars in this episode, and they have something else to show on the next. I have read that they don't show all the things that happen in each leg, so ... ?

BTW, damn you for getting me into this show. =)

No question that J&V's website isn't CBS-sanctioned. I've seldom seen so many misspelled or misused words!

Me, though, I'm feeling dumb: Much as I enjoy the Kennedy Center Honors, I meant to tape "Race" last night.
