Opt out of *SOME* unsolicited junk mail

Many thanks for extempore for some this info.

https://www.optoutprescreen.com

You'll have to manually put this in your browser and not just click on the link. This site is run by the four credit organizations (Equifax, Experian, Innovis, and TransUnion) to allow you to remove your name from lists for pre-approved offers of credit or insurance via "snail mail". Not sure about all of you, but we keep getting offers from credit card companies, and I just opted out permanently. There is also an option to opt out for 5 years only.

Share and enjoy!

I'm confused. I copy the link location and this is all I see:

For security purposes, www.optoutprescreen.com can be accessed by typing the web address "https://www.optoutprescreen.com". Optoutprescreen.com is the only web source authorized by Equifax Information Services, LLC, Experian Information Solutions, Inc., Innovis Data Solutions, Inc., and TransUnion, LLC (collectively the Consumer Credit Reporting Companies), to accept and process requests from consumers to "Opt-Out" of pre-approved offers of credit or insurance. If you have previously completed a request to Opt-Out and would like to Opt-In, you may also complete your request on this website.
