Book may be good. I haven't listened to the music from Piazza yet, so I don't know how the music and lyrics will be.

Piazza is the only thing of Adam's I like, and even that seems overwrought. It is beautifully melodic, but the lyrics are so often one level of poetic complexity beyond what any scene requires...

I dunno. I just have a feeling this could go so badly. I mean, not that I was in line to write this score, but I'm worried about AG getting the gig.

I mean, I could see it being successfully done by the folks that did Scarlet Pimpernel, or perhaps even Ahrens/Flarherty.

Hm. Wildhorn's an interesting idea, though not with any lyricist he's so far encountered. Steve and Lynn can do anything, as they've proven by now--I wonder why they didn't get this one (or why they didn't want it)?

"Stop those rhymes, now, I mean it!"
"Anybody want a peanut??"

etc. etc.
