So one of the first things I've noticed about Vox is that they allow for mobile posting, strictly by sending an email to special address. This can be done from any email address, and does not require the use of a PIN like LiveJournal does.

Can we say spam target? If I were a spammer, the first thing I'd figure out is how to modify my program/botnet, which already spoofs the source address anyway, to send to a whole range of Vox email addresses, using my spam message as the text. Since there is no PIN needed, and the cost is small, the payoff is that my spam message would end up on quite a lot of Vox blogs.

And yes, I submitted this information as feedback. If not addressed, this will instantly be a deal breaker for me.
