I'm going through the Microsoft security bulletins, and had my XM Radio on the 50's on 5. Realized this was much too mellow for the crud I'm going through on these updates, and said to myself "I need something harder". Flipped it to the 80's on 8 and ...

HA! I was at the drive-thru at Wendy's a while ago and was in a pretty foul mood myself. And since 80s on 8 is pretty much stuck on my XM, I was subject to Ms. Gibson too. I just had to say "screw it" and turn off the whole thing.

I love the station, but you definitely have to be in the right mood for it.

I actually prefer 70 for the most part, but this is good too.

They play all sorts of 12-bar stuff, including boogie-woogie and other up-tempo tunes.

I do bounce around the 70 stations a lot too.

And if I'm feeling funky, there are the 80 stations.
