XM, Sirius announce merger

The big question is whether this will pass regulatory approval. Considering these are the only two companies in the satellite radio business, and the start up costs to compete with the combined company would be, to put it midly, huge. Although, the combined companies will have too much infrastructure in place that they might want to shed off (or be forced to shed off).

yeah, i just saw the news on CNN.com

*sigh*

Hopefully none of the channels that i like on XM will be sacrificed.
