My sworn enemy is now my friend and ally

I never have understood how someone can, having publically argued with a person and defiled their character for the express interest of furthering themselves, turn right around and embrace and support the very person they were arguing and defiling, acting as if nothing every happened.

Yes, I'm watching the Clinton droning speech, but this isn't just an issue with her. We've seen this time and time again with all politicians for both parties.

Completely unrelated, Jim McKay has passed.

Your friendships are based (like the rest of us, I assume) on character. A politicians "friendships" are based on power. Once Senator Clinton knew that she would not have ultimate power, she began to secure all the leftover power she could (by befriending the nominee).

You don't understand it because you are not a snake politician, you are a human being.

None of this would mean anything if he world would come to its senses and make me emperor.

Funny, I thought the world would wise up and make me benevolent dictator.
