How are things in Glocca Morra?

With so much talk around here about WeatherBug, I thought I'd pop in a few comments. While inheritly very cool, this program has, in the past, been adware, causing popups on computers. Also, it tries to install Gator, a well known privacy violator/spyware/adware program. Booo....
Info at http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/supergeek/story/0,24330,3331443,00.html

Of course, I am currently boycotting The Weather Channel (TWC) because of comments they made about exploiting an IE vulnerability to replace the home icon in IE with TWC icon and make it the home page. They also have made statements about putting full ads that obscure web content on other people's sites just to drum up business for their web site. Hiss.... Booo...... I wish I kept the article now -- It was in the newspaper, not online.

So in other words, I don't know how hot it is here in LA. Sorry.

There ARE other weather Web sites...
My favorite is AccuWeather.com just because it gives you better climatological data, and the radar has more levels of detail. (Yeah, it never rains in southern California, so you might not get as much use from that feature as I do.) There's also Weather Underground (wunderground.com) and NOAA.gov, if you want another source of weather.
