My Yahoo! email account just got used as the return address for some spammer. I had 1473 messages, all of them email bounces. It was a rather cool thing to see, but I'm so over it now.
On a similarly weird subject, I got a phone call at work from a studio production company. Seems that one of their phone numbers is routing unexpectedly to my phone number, resulting in me getting lot of phone calls for them. Kinda funny, but again, I'm over it now. Had to change my phone message to give callers their number. Hopefully that wonderful phone company SBC will fix this shortly.
Hi Christa! *waves hand vigorously* When will you unshroud and join us here in LJ Land? We need dirt of lambertman...
Shortly after my post the other day, I did purchase a TiVo upgrade kit from weaknees.com. That, I think, is going to be one of my tasks this weekend, after vigourously watching everything that is on the current TiVo hard drives. Hopefully, by the time I go to work Tuesday morning, I'll have a 300 hour TiVo.
In the time it has taken me to write this message, I have received three unique spams in my Yahoo! email account. I think I'm very glad I killed this particular account, especially since I gave that email addy out to anyone that wanted it in the days before I knew what I was doing. I should have a full email box again within a day. Wish there was a way to make this account exclusive, but then again, I don't need yet another email account...
I really like the direction that John Doe is taking. Tonight's episode was very well written, and adds a few good wrinkles to the overall storyline. I sure hope the producers have plotted out the story line more than a few episodes out.
Gas prices are absolutely out of contol in SoCal. In the past two weeks, the Texaco that I pass to get to work has jumped prices from $1.609 to $1.649 to $1.709, and now it's $1.749. This is in two weeks, and is for unleaded gas. 'Tis ridiculous, and makes me glad that I only fill up about once a week.
