The remains of the day

I'm working from home most Fridays now. There is a weekly meeting from 4-5pm every Friday that talked about Security Patch deployments. Well, I usually leave for the train at 4:10, so there's a bit of a conflict there. Yes, I could stay until later and take a later train, but those are *so* crowded that I just hate it. So I'm going to work from home and dial into those meetings. Works for me!

Just found out that the latest security patch from Microsoft (MS03-013) supercedes a previous patch (MS03-007). And, in it's supercedence, it took away the SP3 dependency! Good! Now we can stroll down the road to SP3 instead of running down it!

Why does it seem that you've seen every single episode of M*A*S*H when you turn it on? TiVo has gathered quite a few of them as recommendations, and I use that for background while working from home. Today, though, I found one that I've never seen before. It was called "Follies of the Living, Concerns of the Dead". This is where a soldier names Weston is dead, but his spirit refuses to go away, and the only one who can see him is a delusional Klinger. Wow... what a great episode.

There are two small birds that have been generally around the front door. The other day, I found out they were starting a nest in the beam right above the door. Now, I generally like birds, but they tend to be messy. Also, I would imagine that all the coming and going out the door would scare the bejeezus out of them. So, since the "nest" was a matter of about three twigs up there, I took it down. The birds keep coming back, and starting this again. It kills me everytime I see them there because I know their efforts are futile...

www.rialtus.com will be moving soon, which means I need to either learn HTML enough to make a site, or find a decent program to make a web site for me. Suggestions are welcomed.
