Congrats. Because I'm in a fairly good mood (notwithstanding recent events), I'll spare you the lecture about how "year" is redundant in the above phrase because the word "anniversary" comes from "annum," the Latin word for year. Nope, not gonna do it.

BTW, I'm glad *SOMEBODY* got my 19! joke. I do tend to make a lot of jokes that fly over everyone's head--like the "Mr. Smithy Goes To Washington" crack last weekend. Exactly Zero got it.

... so I should have said "Happy first LJ anniversary to me." TTTpth! =P

Keep that up and I'll start in on the few math jokes I know... as told to me by Alan Smithee.

YAY! You got it!! My dad researchguy said nobody got the joke because I misspelled "Smithee."

Well, it's hard to miss a number like 12,164,500,408,832,000 anyway...

I'm trying to recall which film it was recently that was that touted it was "An Alan Smithee Film"... *quick search* Ah! An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn. Didn't see it, but looks amusing...

I feel like such a piker.

I guess that's better than feeling like a pike eel...

Don't mind me. Just being weird is all.

Morden: "What do you want?"
Vir: "I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike. As a warning to the next ten generations, that some favors come at to high a price. I would look up at your lifeless eyes and wave just like this. Can you and your associates arrange that for me, Mr. Morden?"

Such a classic scene from Babylon 5... available via WAV file here.

Now, where are my Iron Chef references...?

Congratulations! Of course, I'm coming up to that one year anniversary myself! By the way, we still need to head to Rubidoux one of these days, remember? :-)

Yes we do! Now if I could get Jen to stop scheduling things for me to do or go to on the weekends... and get work to stop making me do work on the weekends... *sigh*
