For those with GameCubes

We like the style of games like Super Mario Bros, Tetris, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Frogger. Any suggestions?

Viewtiful Joe is a platform/fighting game (with a few puzzles thrown in for good measure) about a guy who gets sucked into a movie and turns into a superhero. Made by capcom. The artwork and music work extremely well. The control scheme is a little tricky at first, but the game does have a rather forgiving learning curve when you start out. Old school sensibilites, new school technologies.

Midway Arcade Treasures has something like 23 or 24 games in this collection. A lot of Midway and Atari games (Klax, Paperboy, Smash TV, Gauntlet, Joust, Defender, Sinistar, etc) from the mid 80s-early 90s.

Emulated flawlessly and priced rather inexpensively (I paid ~$17 at Wal-Mart), the game also comes with some extensive extras (interviews with the creators, trivia, backstory, promotional flyers). I highly recommend this one, but keep in mind that I am kinda biased towards the classics.
