I'm gonna get you for this, Chri$ Lambert!

Since last night, I've had a hunkerin' for some A-Treat Birch Beer. A-Treat is a local, Pennsylvania bottler who makes some damned great birch beer, IMHO. So to the net I go, trying to see how I can get me some way out here in California.

They ship. One case of 12 ounce cans for $24. That's $1 a can for the stuff. Now I have to wonder if it's worth it to me. *sigh*

BTW, an interesting link I found while researching this: (link) That's the National Soft Drink Association's site of companies, which includes websites if available and phone numbers. For certain fans of soft drinks that were mentioned in the subject line of this post, it could be very interesting (and expensive?).

Yoo-Hoo is made by Snapple Beverage Corporation? Hmm...

Always interested in meeting game show fans that are level-headed and normal, since they seem to be a rare breed these days..

Apparently just since '02, according to drinkyoo-hoo.com. Sounds like a bit of tricky brand reorganization in the Cadbury-Schweppes boardroom.

Thanks for pointing out the list. It gives one something to ponder. :) (If only I could get Pepsi's Mr. Green here; alas, pepsi distributes Dr pepper here and therefore can't sell Mr. Green.)

Mr. Green? That pops back to the Pepsi website, where there is practically no information. Odd. Is that a relatively new brand, a product that is dying, or just the red-headed stepchild of PepsiCorp?

BTW, Dr. Pepper is distributed by CocaCola Enterprises out here. Funky.

I believe that Pepsi's continuing to sell it in markets where they don't run Pepper, but I have no way of being sure. (Especially since it sounds like it should've been in your area. Maybe it *is* being phased out.)
